At St Mungo’s we run two types of groups … LIFE Groups and Bible Study Groups.

Home L.I.F.E Groups

Learning, Intercession, Fellowship, Evangelism (also may be known as Cell Groups)

Bible-based discussion, prayer and fellowship at someone’s home; midweek evenings. We currently have groups meeting in Bryanston, Fourways, Randpark Ridge, Woodmead.   If you’d like be join a group in an area near you, please contact Lisa in the Church office.

What we do:

We learn together from the Bible

We build strong relationships within the group

We pray – for each other, the church, common concerns,  and for others to give their lives to Christ.

We reach out with the Gospel to extend the Kingdom.

Values:

We meet once a week from 7pm til 9pm.

We give social priority to this meeting. We protect the time.

We apologise if we are late or not able to attend – before-hand if possible.

We pray for each other regularly.

We maintain confidentiality within the group.

We are as open and honest as we can possibly be.

We make ourselves accountable to the group for the commitment we make.

We accept the authority of the Bible as the word of God to us.

We strive to grow in our love for God and our love for people.

We look for, and seek to develop, leaders from within the groups who will help start new LIFE groups.

There is always an “open chair” in the group so that group members can invite new people under conditions agreed by the group and provided they are agreeable to the LIFE group covenant.

Bible Study Groups

Early morning, mid-morning or afternoon groups.  If you’d like to join a group please phone Lisa at the Church office and enquire about days and times.
